Tria Beauty & Tria Technologies Manuals

The Tria brand category covers two distinct but innovative lines of products.

Tria Beauty is a pioneer in light-based skincare, best known for its at-home laser hair removal devices like the FDA-cleared Tria Laser 4X. Using clinical-grade diode laser technology, Tria Beauty enables users to achieve long-lasting hair removal safely and privately.

Tria Technologies (a trademark of Avnet, Inc.) designs and manufactures cutting-edge computing modules, systems-on-module (SOMs), and development boards. Their extensive lineup—including the K24, AUBoard-15P, and ZUBoard 1CG—empowers engineers to test, prototype, and build complex applications involving AI, machine learning, and embedded processing.

Tria support FAQ

Faak stelde fragen oer hantliedingen, registraasje en stipe foar dit merk.

  • Does the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X work on all hair colors?

No. The Tria Laser 4X deactivates the hair follicle by targeting the dark pigment (melanin) inside the hair. It is intended for use only on naturally brown or black hair and will not work on white, grey, blonde, or red hair.

  • Is the Tria Hair Removal Laser safe for all skin tones?

The Tria 4X is intended for use only on light to medium skin tones. It has a built-in skin sensor that will not unlock the device if it detects a skin tone that is too dark and unsafe for treatment.

  • How often should I use my Tria Beauty laser?

For best results, it is recommended to treat the desired area every two weeks for up to 3 months, or until you are satisfied with the amount of hair reduction.

  • What is included with a typical Tria Technologies Development Kit?

Development kits generally include the primary board (such as the AUBoard-15P or ZUBoard), a power supply, a quick-start card, and occasionally mounting hardware like standoffs and heatsinks depending on the module.

  • How do I boot my Tria Development Board from an SD card?

You will need to prepare a microSD card with a compatible BSP image (like PetaLinux) using an imaging tool. Then, insert the card into the board's SD slot and configure the boot mode switches (e.g., SW1) to the designated SD card boot setting before applying power.
