Installing Dell Command | Configure on Windows systems

You can install Dell Command | Configure on Windows systems using either the Dell Update Package (DUP) or the MSI installer.
Both installers support standard and silent (unattended) installation modes.

NOAT: Microsoft .NET 4.8.1 or later must be installed on the client system to install Dell Command | Configure using the user interface.

NOAT: If User Account Control (UAC) is enabled on a Windows 10 system, silent mode installation is not allowed. Ensure that you have administrative privileges before installing Dell Command | Configure in silent mode.

• Dell Command Secure BIOS Configuration(DCSBC) is not supported on systems running the Linux operating system.

You can install the Dell Command | Configure for Red Hat and Debian-based linux distributions, by following these steps:

1. Go to Support | Dell, download the tar.gz file.
